The Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society in cooperation with the Alumni Programs of Technische Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, Universität der Künste, Universität Potsdam as well as Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS) and the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) is inviting former guest researchers to a multidisciplinary conference. Not only are we planning to discuss the highly interesting topic of “Research towards Trustworthiness and Self-Determination in a Networked Society” with renowned speakers and research alumni from various disciplines but also give visibility to the Weizenbaum Institute and its fellowships as well as guest lectureships (a detailed programme can be found here).
The conference will be held from 24 to 25 September 2018 in the heart of the City of Boston, USA (Boston Center for Adult Education).
Former guest researchers who spent a research stay at one of the consortium partners (Technische Universität Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Universität der Künste Berlin, Universität Potsdam, Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS) and Berlin Social Science Center (WZB)) and who currently reside in the USA or Canada are eligible to apply. The deadline for application is 13 May 2018.
