Florian Eyert is a research fellow and doctoral candidate in the research group “Quantification and Social Regulation”. He studied social sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as well as at Université Paris 8 and the New School for Social Research. In his master thesis he investigated the relation between computational social science and theory development by analyzing contemporary computer simulation methods. At the Weizenbaum Institute he employs the perspective of the sociology of quantification, classification and valuation in order to assess the implications of big data and artificial intelligence on processes of governance and regulation.

Short Biography

Florian Eyert is a research fellow and doctoral candidate in the research group “Quantification and Social Regulation”.
